GameStop, in my hands...?

So, today my store manager left to go on vacation. Being that I am the assistant manager, that means the store is mine. Uh, I've been at this job for less than two weeks. I'm still having to ask questions on normal mundane tasks. Things like....

"What all needs to get done when I open tomorrow? As in, what are the opening tasks?"
"I hit cash instead of credit, how do I fix this?"
"How do I handle this redemption on this product replacement plan for this XBox 360?"

... and yet the store is in MY hands? I mean, I've been told that I'm doing a ridiculously awesome job, and I'm a confident person, but this is a whole lot of responsibility for someone who is still having issues processing the small stuff. I know in the long run, so long as the store is still standing, and I'm selling games and getting reserves and people to sign up for edge cards that things will work out when the manager gets back, but... I'm just a little overwhelmed at the moment.

You got this!

Also, if there are any serious questions about policy/procedure, I'm sure you can just call up another GameStop. :)

With great power comes great responsibility.

I just hope your store manager doesn't grab access to that Facebook status where you laugh at people, including your FB friends, and tell them to zip it just because they're smart enough to care about their safety more than adding funds to their next paycheck. Driving on icy roads may be a part of life but rubbing it in everyone's faces is downright selfish

It's no secret that people in TN drive horribly in bad weather (I guess you can't blame them, it happens rarely). I was more laughing at everyone and poking fun at myself for having such a janky car. If you want to sit here and tell me how bad of a person I am, stop doing it anonymously. kthx. You're probably the same scrub who kept doing shit like this to me in the past.
